Effect: The magician asks a spectator to pick a number of cards seemingly of their choice until there is only 1 card left the spectator picks it up and the magician tells them what their card is.
Method
- This trick needs a little bit of preparation, before starting the trick look at the top card and remember it.
- Put down three rows of the deck making sure you know where the top card is.
- Ask the spectator to pick two rows so that you only have one row left this is the row on which the card you remembered is. To make sure the spectator picks your row when they say what row they pick if it is the row of your card take the other two rows away and if they pick one of the other rows take it away and ask them to pick another row.
- Now ask the spectator to pick 2 cards and its the same as the rows from there only you will have one card left.
- The spectator picks up the card left (which is the one you remembered), you say what there card is any there is your trick!
